Hello

Hello, I’m Louise — founder of Mabel Green Studio.

I create handmade lifestyle products from my home studio in Manchester, using locally sourced and repurposed textiles. Every item is slow-made with care, designed to bring comfort, calm, and a touch of everyday joy.

Here I'm using my Japanese‑made vintage overlocker — a trusty, steady member of my studio team. It delivers clean, reliable seams on every project, from sturdy canvas to delicate cotton, and brings a quiet confidence to the making process.

My Story

Mabel Green Studio began with a simple idea: that reuse and comfort can go hand in hand. I’ve been sewing since I was very young, and over time, that creative instinct grew into a passion for thoughtful design and ethical craftsmanship.

After many years working in customer service, I learned how much care and clarity matter — not just in how we treat others, but in how we create things. That’s why every product I make is slow-made, practical, and rooted in kindness.

Whether it’s a washbag stitched from repurposed fabric or a FeliFeed® collar designed to support a recovering pet, I believe small details make a big difference. My studio is a place where comfort meets purpose — and where every stitch tells a story.

If you have a question about a product or need a custom-sized FeliFeed® collar, I'm here to help.

While I don’t offer custom commissions for clothing and accessories, I may be able to make certain items in alternative fabrics, colours, or patterns, depending on what I have in stock.
