1. What is Mabel Green Studio?

Mabel Green Studio is a small independent brand based in South Manchester, UK, creating handmade lifestyle pieces with a focus on sustainability, comfort, and thoughtful design. Every item is crafted with care, using repurposed and locally sourced textiles wherever possible.


2. Where are your products made?

All products are created and packaged in my home studio in Manchester. I work in small batches to ensure quality and attention to detail in every piece.


3. What materials do you use?

I use a mix of repurposed fabrics, locally sourced textiles, and carefully selected trims. Each material is chosen for its durability, comfort, and visual appeal — with a strong emphasis on reducing waste and celebrating texture.


4. Are your products sustainable?

I do my very best to ensure that Mabel Green Studio products are made with care for the planet. I use fabric remnants and repurposed materials wherever possible, keeping waste to a minimum and choosing finishes that are practical but gentle.

That said, no product — handmade or otherwise — is entirely impact-free. I use tools like a sewing machine and an overlocker, and some fabrics have practical finishes for added durability. Even so, I make conscious choices at every step to keep the footprint as low as possible.

5. Do you offer custom or personalised orders?

Whilst I don't offer full custom orders, I'm happy to make one of my existing designs in a different colourway or pattern, depending on what I have available in the studio.


For FeliFeed® Support Collars, I can accommodate custom requests — for example, if a larger size or quantity is required. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss options.

👜 6. Why sell vintage items?

From time to time, I curate vintage accessories and studio finds that sit beautifully alongside my handmade range and celebrate enduring craftsmanship. Each piece is selected with care and chosen for its charm, quality, and timeless practicality. By giving previously loved items a new life, I support a slower, more sustainable approach to style — one that values character, longevity, and thoughtful reuse.


7. How do I care for my handmade item?

Each product comes with care instructions tailored to its materials and construction. French oilcloth or oilcloth can be wiped clean, but it is not stain-proof. Other fabrics can be gently machine-washed at low temperatures, air-dried flat. Harsh detergents should be avoided. If you're unsure, feel free to ask — I’m happy to advise.

8. What is a FeliFeed Support Collar?

FeliFeed® Support Collars are a clinically approved, soft-padded collar for cats with an oesophagostomy feeding tube. It keeps the tube secure and comfortable, reducing the need for complex dressings and helping cats move freely during recovery — making life less stressful for them and their carers.


Each collar is handcrafted in the UK and includes an information leaflet with an illustrated guide to fitting the collar. The collar can be worn during chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and other veterinary procedures.


The collar is registered with the UK Intellectual Property Office (No. 6482159), and the FeliFeed® name and logo are protected trademarks. Unauthorised use or reproduction is not permitted.

🚚📮Shipping & Delivery


10. Where do you ship to?

I currently ship within the United Kingdom (including the Channel Islands: Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney). International shipping may be introduced in future, excluding the United States, due to tariff regulations. If you're based elsewhere and interested in placing an order, feel free to get in touch — we'll let you know what’s possible.

Shipping to the Channel Islands: Royal Mail domestic services are used, and delivery is generally the same as for UK destinations. Please refer to our Shipping Policy page for full details, including customs requirements and service notes.


11. How much does shipping cost?

A fixed postage and packing fee is charged based on the delivery option you choose at checkout. Free UK shipping is automatically applied to orders of £100 or more. Please note: This offer excludes Special Delivery services, including next-day and Saturday guaranteed options.

12. How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are usually dispatched within 1 working day (Monday to Friday). For larger or custom orders — such as bulk collar requests — please allow a little extra time while I prepare your items with care. I’ll always keep you informed if there’s a delay.


13. Do you offer tracked delivery?

Yes — I use Royal Mail as my primary postal service provider with tracking included for all orders. At checkout, if you provide your email address or mobile number, Royal Mail tracking updates can usually be sent directly to you. Visit the Shipping Policy page for details.

🎁 Packaging & Presentation


14. How are your items packaged?

Each order is carefully packed in my Manchester studio using eco-conscious materials wherever possible. I use recyclable or compostable packaging to help reduce waste, and I take care to ensure your items arrive safely and in excellent condition.


15. Do you use plastic-free or recyclable materials?

Yes — I prioritise plastic-free, recyclable, and compostable packaging. My materials are sourced locally where possible, including glassine bags, paper tape, and eco-friendly wrapping. I choose options that are gentle on the planet and practical for everyday use.


16. Will my order include a gift note or thank-you message?

Yes — every order includes a small studio thank-you note. If your order is a gift, I’ll leave out the invoice and can include a short message for the recipient. Just add your request and special message at checkout.


17. Can I add gift wrapping to my order?

​Yes — gift wrapping is available for £1.00 per item. I use simple, sustainable wrapping materials to maintain thoughtful and understated presentation.


Note: gift wrapping must be selected at the time of ordering and can’t be added later, as the charge is applied during checkout.

18. How can I contact you about my order?

You can reach me by email at hello@mabelgreenstudio.co.uk. I aim to respond within 1 working day. If your query relates to an existing order, please include your order number to expedite the process.


19. What happens if I need to change or cancel my order?

If you need to make a change or cancel your order, please email me as soon as possible, quoting your order number. I’ll do my best to help, but once an item has been dispatched, changes may not be possible.

🔁 Returns & Legal Info

 

20. What if my item arrives damaged or doesn’t match my expectations?

​If something’s not quite right, please don't hesitate to get in touch — I want you to be delighted with your purchase. Email hello@mabelgreenstudio.co.uk with your order number and a brief description of the issue, along with clear photographs if relevant, and I’ll do my best to resolve it quickly and fairly.


21. Do you offer returns or exchanges?

As a small studio, I don’t offer general exchanges for Mabel Green products. FeliFeed® collars are made to a very high standard, and faults are extremely rare — but if your item arrives damaged or faulty, I’ll make it right in line with your rights under UK consumer law.


Please note: I’m unable to offer refunds or exchanges if the wrong size has been ordered and the collar has been opened. However, if the sealed packet remains intact and the size label on the front reveals a mismatch, I’ll gladly exchange it for the correct size once the original collar has been safely returned. Postage costs for the exchange will need to be covered by the customer.


To avoid disappointment, please check your cat’s neck size and weight before placing your order. Sizing guidance is provided in the product description and in the information guide available on this website.

 

🏛️💳 22. What happens if I’ve changed my bank or card since placing my order?
Refunds must be issued to the original payment method used at checkout — this includes card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. If your card has expired or you’ve switched banks, your bank should automatically redirect the funds to your new account. This process is in line with UK payment regulations and anti-money laundering guidance.

Mabel Green Studio does not have access to any customer bank details or payment account information. If you're unsure about receiving your refund, please contact your bank directly.

22. Are your designs protected by copyright or trademark?

Yes — the FeliFeed Support Collar® is protected under UK Registered Design number 6482159, and the FeliFeed® name is a registered trademark. These protections cover the collar’s structure, branding, and visual identity. Unauthorised use or reproduction is not permitted. I also use the copyright notice © Mabel Green Studio 2025 across my website and materials.


23. Is my personal information safe?

Yes. This website collects only the information needed to process your order and provide customer support. Your data is never shared with third parties, and my website is securely hosted with Wix. You can read the full Privacy Policy here.
